Schooner Amazone
S/y Amazone is a modern sailingship, that has been designed by the worldfamous shipdesigner O. van Meer Design, and was built by Laan & Kooy, Den Oever in Holland. Originally the ship's hull was constructed in 1963 as a fishing vessel, and worked as a fishing vessel on the North Sea after being finished. Year 1993 the old fishing vessel was modified to become a sailing vessel and was equiped to meet the standarts of a charter vessel.
The vessel is equiped to meet all the modern safety requirements, and is always carrying a certificated and competent crew according to the authorities requirements.
All passenger cabins are equiped with a sink. On the corridor you can find 5 pcs toilets and 5 pcs showers. The vessel has a 230V electrical system, to which electricity can be produced with our own generators while at sea.
